Hello fellow artist!
I am Lisa Lebofsky, a nomadic plein air painter, collaborating with nature and people to explore the connection between our emotions and the environment. Through my paintings, I capture the energy and vulnerability of the landscape—translating shifting light, texture, and atmosphere into works that invite you to feel as much as you see.
My inspiration comes from traveling to remote and climate-sensitive regions such as Antarctica, Greenland, and The Maldives, where I connect with local communities whose experiences and stories shape my art.
Over the years, I’ve been honored to receive a 2024 NYFA Painting Grant, complete artist residencies across North America, and have my work featured in the Tribeca Festival Artist Awards Program and on Apple TV’s Severance.
