Hello fellow artist!

I am Lisa Lebofsky, a nomadic plein air painter, collaborating with nature and people to explore the connection between our emotions and the environment. Through my paintings, I capture the energy and vulnerability of the landscape – translating shifting light, texture, and atmosphere into works that invite you to feel as much as you see.

My inspiration comes from traveling to remote and climate-sensitive regions such as Antarctica, Greenland, and The Maldives, where I connect with local communities whose experiences and stories shape my art.

Over the years, I’ve been honored to receive a 2024 NYFA Painting Grant, complete artist residencies across North America, and have my work featured in the Tribeca Festival Artist Awards Program and on Apple TV’s Severance.
